A residence or place of business is investigated for paranormal occurrences usually because the people who live or work there have experienced unusual happenings that cannot be explained. Commonly reported are footsteps, noises, voices, apparitions, electrical disturbances, and strange behavior of pets.
We initiate an investigation by requiring the witnesses to complete a report of the disturbances taking place. Two team leaders then visit the property and interview the witnesses and record some data.
It is our intention to discredit any of these occurrences as paranormal in origin. Once it is ruled out that there is nothing physically possible that is causing disturbances reported by the witnesses, then we will perform an investigation to discover if there is paranormal activity taking place there.
SJPR conducts cemetery investigations in a professional manner, being most respectful of the deceased and the property. We collect evidence in much the same way as we do for a building. Since we believe that there is generally more spirit activity in places of burial, we find cemeteries to be quite resourceful in our collection of evidence of paranormal activity. If we are able, we will pick up any trash and upright headstones that may have fallen over. If there is an eternal light on a grave site that has blown out, we will re-light it.
