| Case Studies - Potter's Field, Blackwood NJ - 12/07/01 Potter's Field: A place for the burial of unknown or indigent persons. The cemetery known to locals simply as "Potter's Field" is located on the grounds amongst a vast complex of buildings, which comprises the county health services. These grounds and buildings serve indigent people, among others, who are dependent on the county for their care. The county children's correctional facility is here. There is a long term care complex for invalids, a homeless shelter and a home for the mentally ill. The grounds at one time housed common prisoners. The county morgue was also located here. Potter's Field does not have much aesthetic appeal. Most people interred here and their families did not have money for gravestones to mark their burial places. Some bodies were never claimed by anyone, leaving the county responsible for their burials. Located next to a ball field where people gather to cheer their teams, Potter's Field appears barren, set apart by a dirt road. We enter after dark sets in, and we protect ourselves in prayer against any negative spirits. Then we speak to the dead. We tell them we are there to take pictures, that we mean no harm, and that we would like to visit with them for a while. We hope they welcome us. Here are some pictures and some stories of our visits to Potter's Field: -Click on a photo for a larger image- |

| Although it seems unusual that we would get so many multiple orbs pictures in one area, as we did near the little girl, many of us could feel her presence. We had taken several pictures before and after each of these multiple orb pics, and not all of them were positive. If the orbs were "dust", it is not feasible that dust would settle only seconds later, when we obtained subsequent negative photos. | |||||||||||||||
