Case Studies - Private Residence - Thorofare, NJ April 12, 2003

The residents in this lovely home asked us to investigate what they believed to be paranormal activity. In particular, the homeowner's 10 year old daughter has seen the spirit of a young Native American child of about the age of 6 both outside the home and in her bedroom. When we asked the resident if the spirit girl every spoke to her, she told us that they usually see each other and then run in opposite directions! We did feel that we may have frightened the young spirit at one point in the investigation. She may have been confused as to what we were doing there.

The homeowner also believes that her late mother visits often, as the house was hers in life. As many of our loyal site visitors already know, all of our investigators go into our investigations without any prior knowledge of the activity the residents are reporting. We do this deliberately so that no one goes into the investigation with any preconceived notions about what they are going to find, if anything.

On this night, one of our teams encountered a young child that they estimated was 6 or 7 years old. They even managed to capture her voice on our audio equipment! Also encountered this night was a young boy, perhaps pre-adolescent, an elderly woman, perhaps the resident's mother and the spirit of a dog that could be heard lapping water. We offer some of our finding here.

A nice moving orb captured in the daughter's bedroom by Investigator Thornton. The master bedroom proved to be rather active as demonstrated by these orbs obtained by Investigator Brown.
So what is the arrow pointing to? Upon examining this photo, Investigator Bove' discovered a young boy peeking out from a bedroom. No one was in that room at the time this picture was taken. For a closer view, see the picture to the right. Can you see the boy in the doorway? To orient you to his face, the arrow is positioned to a point that is the area of the bridge of his nose. Pictures taken of this same view before and after this one show no one standing in the doorway. Let us know what you think of this one!

Wow! The girl in the picture saw the little girl spirit come down the steps into the living room when Investigator Ponce de Leon captured this awesome orb!

Our investigators sure are resourceful! When Investigator Thornton felt something near her hand, she took a picture to see if anything was there...sure enough, something was!
EVP EVIDENCE

So many evp, so little space...We recorded many evp this night, but only offer a few of the better ones for you below:

During one of our team's encounters with the young spirit of a girl, we managed to record her voice several times. Our team was delighted to have this little girl in their presence and were laughing that she was around them. In this clip, you'll hear the little girl say, "This isn't funny."   Listen

During the same timeframe as the evp above, Investigator Thornton recorded a young child again. In this clip, you will hear the investigator saying, "Flash," but under her voice is a woman who sounds like she's asking the question, "Butch here?"  You will hear a child answer her, "No, I'm busy just playing."   Listen

Again, during the encounter with the young child, Investigator Thornton recorded her saying, "I asked my Mommy."   Listen

At the same time Investigator Bove' saw a little girl with pigtails, the resident's 10 year old daughter said she audibly heard the little girl. When the audio was reviewed, Investigator Bove' discovered the little girl loudly saying, "Bop!"   Listen

While in the master bedroom, just as Investigator Bove' was taking a picture, she recorded this man's voice saying, "Can I take a snapshot?"  Does anyone even use the term "snapshot" any more? Interesting!   Listen
