Salem - Witch Dungeon Museum Next stop for the traveling members of SJPR was the famous Witch Dungeon Museum. Some info on the Witch Dungeon Museum - The public is able to sit through a reenactment of the trial of beggar - woman 'Sarah Good' from the original trial transcript of 1692. Members of the audience are then taken on a guided tour of the dungeon where they will see the poor conditions and the actual size of the cells that the accused were kept in. There is also a recreation of the village and of Gallows Hill. Members of SJPR were able to spend some time doing a little investigating. Below are some of our findings from the Witch Dungeon Museum in Salem, Massachusetts. -Click on a photo for a larger image-
Final stop (no pun intended) the The Old Burying Point Cemetery. |
