Case Studies - Private Residence - Lindenwold, NJ - November 3, 2007
The residents of this large, old farmhouse asked SJPR to come investigate the strange occurrences they have been experiencing since moving in two years ago. The previous owner had lived in the house for 50 years, selling the house after his spouse passed on. He followed her into spirit just one week after having sold their home and accompanying business.
Although the current owners never met them, they believe they are still present in the house, often helping them by finding lost items, or giving clear signals as opinions when discussions about the direction of the business are being conducted! Employees have also told the owners about strange noises and things seen from the corner of their eyes....
Our investigation revealed a mix of activity in the home. Although the good feelings of love among the family is apparent, there also exists a lingering feeling of dread and negativity in some areas of the house. A follow-up investigation is planned, along with a cleansing to help rid the home of any negative energy that might be resistant.

Bove' suddenly felt she was not alone when she took this picture
showing two bright orbs.

guest investigator felt compelled to look in the unfinished area of
the attic. Investigator Rogozin took a picture during this
time, resulting in the capture of this small orb.

This EVP was recorded by Investigator Bove' during the preliminary visit to the home. It's very clear and deserves a place on the investigation page! The homeowners were talking about their future plans when three distinct voices were heard. The first says, “Not in front of the kids!” The next voice sounds as though the person had a speech impediment, saying in a halting voice, “They can’t fit into a ca-ge.” The last voice says emphatically, “We don’t need you!” The conversation among the living has been cut out of the clip so that the spirit voices could be heard more clearly. The Bathroom
Investigator Bove' was sensing very bad energy in the 2nd floor bathroom and decided to place her recorder there for a time. She couldn't stay in the bathroom, but remained in the doorway. The following six EVP were all recorded by Bove' within a minutes time, one right after the other. They are clipped separately, however, to be heard more clearly....
A soulful-sounding female can be heard saying, "I'm colder." Listen
In this clip, a young boy speaks, saying, “So he can trip me into…” He is then harshly cut short by a woman scolding, “No! Johnny!” Investigator Bove' took this to mean he was saying something that the woman did not want him to reveal. A female investigator is talking when the boy is talking, but he can still be clearly heard. Listen
Right after the exchange between the boy and woman, a young girl speaks up saying, “For control, he put me in a trunk.” It is Investigator Bove's impression that she continued after the boy was quieted because she wanted someone to know that there were children in the house who were being abused. Listen
The next voice captured by Investigator Bove' sounds like an older woman whose speech may have been slurred. She sounds as though she's saying, "They'll never find us." Listen
The last voice recorded during this minute was that of a defeated-sounding woman who states in a halting voice, "I can't do it anymore." Listen
Just two minutes after recording the previous voices, Investigator Bove' was approached by the family dog. You'll hear her talking sweetly to the dog, saying, “Hello, puppy…” a very loud, raspy voice then chimes in saying what sounds like, “Shindlebee…a good boy.” You will then hear Bove' tell the dog he’s “a very good boy.” Listen
The Rest of the House
While investigating the master bedroom, Investigator Rogozin thought he heard what sounded like rumbling. Upon reviewing his audio, he discovered it was a woman's voice he had heard, suggesting, "Look up." Listen
This clip, recorded by Investigator Rogozin, is not a Class A EVP, but it is significant. You will hear the muffled voice of what sounds like a woman saying, "Catch me." Investigator Bove' is then heard asking, "Is that you?" because she had audibly heard the voice. Listen
Investigator Kurkis recorded this EVP in the kitchen. The female homeowner had just told her husband to "be quiet," then a male whispered, "What's wrong with them?" Apparently, he mistakenly thought they were having a disagreement. Listen
In this clip, recorded by Investigator Kurkis in the living room, you will hear both homeowners asking their dog to locate any spirits that may have been present. An unknown male voice then says, "I'm here." Listen
One of our guest investigators was using dowsing rods and asking questions of the spirits in the master bedroom. It was at this time Investigator Kurkis recorded this male voice saying, "I need you." The voice is small, but very clear. Listen
Investigator Bove's team was all sitting quietly in the living room...no one was talking at all. It was during this quiet time that Investigator Bove' recorded this female whispering, "Kill me." Listen
Investigator Bove's team was in the basement where an old cabinet stood.
One of the guest investigators stated that the cabinet always "creeped him
out" and he was always afraid to open it. Since there was safety in
numbers, he wanted to see what was stored inside. Literally, as the
door was being opened, a deep male voice is heard asking, "What's in it?"

Watch as energy flies up the right side of the frame, by the lamp, which seemed to harbor much energy around it! Watch
Energy flies up, touches the lampshade, and then flies off to the corner of the room. Watch
Although no anomalies are seen in this footage, it is still very cool! The cell sensor that is in the center of the frame sounds, to the delight of both Investigators Kurkis and Thornton! It is possible that there was energy just out of the camera's view, as the sensor sat quietly in the same position for quite some time without sounding. Watch
This clip shows quite a bit of energy in the laundry room! There is some dog hair that drops down in the first couple of frames...you can ignore that! Watch
In
this clip, Investigator Thornton was filming one of the homeowners using
dowsing rods. Although it is difficult to see in the clip, the rods
are crossed as spirit energy flies about.
