Case Studies - Private Residence - Langhorne Manor Boro, PA - November 25, 2006 One of the coolest things about investigating the paranormal is that we get to spend time in some of the most beautiful places. This magnificent home was built in 1741 and it is apparent that even back then, no expense was spared. Although the home has been expanded over the centuries, the main portion of the house has solid stone walls that are two-feet thick! Think of all the energy they must be retaining! It was difficult for us to concentrate on the ghost stuff with the arched doorways, picturesque fireplaces, and elegant staircases to distract us, but we did manage to finally close our gaping mouths to get some work done! We were called to this home because soon after the residents moved in, the activity started. The homeowners and guests have been witness to many of the physical occurrences, including locked doors opening, candle sticks being ripped from their bases and flung across the room, and turquoise colored tiles falling from the ceiling and landing at their feet...we should mention that there are no such tiles anywhere in the house! Recently, some workmen renovating the second floor suddenly packed up their belongings, vowing never to return. Hearing "people" running around on the second floor, opening and slamming doors, the homeowners have even called the police several times, convinced that there were intruders in the house! It was a police officer who had finally suggested that they look to paranormal researchers for some answers. That's where we come in. Click on a photo for a larger image-

EVP EVIDENCE Forty-four EVP were captured this night! Wow! We wish we could post them all, but offer some of the best ones for you here... Within the first five minutes of our investigation, Investigator Halpin's recorder picked up a female spirit announcing, "We're here with ya!" And oh, boy were they ever! Listen This EVP is clear and astonishing! While alone in the master bedroom of the main house, Investigator Bove' recorded a man singing in a sultry tone and a woman who seemed to be "advertising" his show! Listen as the man sings, you'll hear a woman chime in with, "Come and sing with Mindle." The original recording is offered here, along with the man singing and the woman clipped separately to be heard more clearly. If anyone recognizes this song or the singer, please contact us! Original Man Woman While on the landing at the top of the second floor, Investigator Sauter kept capturing spirit energy around one particular window. In this clip, you'll hear her ask aloud, "Why do you hang around this window?" A woman then replies, "I just do." The "bumping" heard in the clip is the footfalls of investigators walking around. Listen The expansive house also has three apartments, two of which we were able to include in our investigation. While investigating the master bedroom in the third floor apartment, Investigator Bove' recorded a borderline-risqué EVP of a man and woman! You'll hear the man say, "Here's a rock and a shake," followed by a woman moaning, "Oh!" Listen
While
sitting quietly in the living room, Investigator Halpin recorded this
deep-voice male asking, "Would you mind?" We're not sure to what he
was referring!
Listen While investigating the basement, Investigator Sauter picked up this clear male voice stating, "Seven o'clock, that's our deal." Since it had nothing to do with what was going on at the time, we have classified this as residual energy that we just happened to pick up. Listen Investigator Orapello recorded this woeful, soft female voice in the basement saying, "I'm home." Listen The landing at the top of the second floor by far yielded the most evidence of the evening! While Investigator Bove' and her team were engaging in general conversation, a woman loudly proclaims, "What is going on here but love?" Listen We don't typically post EVP of sounds, but this one is rather significant. Investigator Orapello's team, which was on the landing of the second floor at the top of the stairs, heard what sounded like a heavy piece of furniture being dragged. None of the teams on the floors above or below heard the noise. His team spent a considerable amount of time trying to recreate the noise, without success. Upon reviewing his audio, he found that his recorded has also picked up the noise. Listen While in the unoccupied apartment, Investigator Halpin recorded the voices of two different women. The first says, "Call the boys," followed by a second woman who almost sings the same phrase. Although investigators as talking in this clip, the women are still clearly heard. Listen VIDEO EVIDENCE While positioned on the very active landing of the second floor, Investigator Thornton recorded multiple orbs flying around over the staircase. Watch In this video, captured by Investigator Thornton, you'll see energy on the right side of the screen start to come into the room. It then loops around and goes back out, as if changing its mind. Watch Investigator Thornton picked up orb activity in the basement. Watch the right side of the screen and if you miss it, you'll see Investigator Thornton's hand come into frame as she was pointing out the area to her team members. Watch |
