This was our second night of investigating the beautiful Hainesburg Mansion.  You can check out the results from our first night of investigating here.  Our sister group, North Jersey Paranormal Research, was unable to join us the second night, but we did bring along a couple of brave guest investigators.

This evening was as fascinating as the first!  We again obtained many examples of interactive EVP, including the girl whom Investigator Bove' encountered the previous night.  There was another strong spirit that the team encountered, a male that appeared to have targeted Investigator C. Groff.  Being the only male investigator present, the spirit may have been "flexing his muscles," so to speak.

We offer a sampling of our findings...

Investigator K. Groff (seated in picture) reported that a male spirit was "in her face."  Investigator Halpin took this picture showing a dense orb directly in front of her face!

Investigator Thornton took this picture as the team and guest investigators were sitting in the large turret, concentrating on imagery.

Feeling a presence behind her, Investigator Thornton turned and captured this spirit energy.

Also feeling the presence in the shop, Investigator Bove' took this picture showing a spirit orb behind Investigator Thornton.  Notice how Investigator Thornton is looking cautiously behind her!

Investigator C. Groff snapped this picture when he started to feel very uncomfortable.

Investigator Halpin took this picture when Investigator Thornton stated she felt cold.
EVP EVIDENCE

No less than 31 EVP were recorded during our second investigation!  We wish we could post them all!  We offer some of the more compelling ones for you here.

The team was investigating in the large turret and concentrating on imagery.  The quiet was interrupted when one of the investigators (who shall remain nameless), "broke wind."  We all had a good laugh, because after all, flatulence IS funny!  It was during this break in the investigation when Investigator K. Groff recorded this male voice saying, "Yuck!  Oh, man...phew!"  This finding poses the question, can spirits smell?  Listen

While sitting in the large turret, Investigator K. Groff asked aloud, "Who's here with us?"  She received a reply from a female spirit saying, "We could show you."   Listen

During our first night of investigating, Investigator Bove' had an intense encounter with a young girl.  We were discussing this and the fact that a partial name was visible on the back of the girl's picture, which read "...reen," (the first part of the name was cut off).  It was during this discussion that Investigator K. Groff recorded this male voice who seems to confirm the girl in the picture was named Maureen, saying, "Developing picture, Maureen."   Listen

It was also during the discussion of the young girl when our audio equipment recorded what we believe to be the her voice.  Three sources of audio picked up the girl's voice, but the sample offered here was recorded by Investigator Bove'.  The girl seems to implore, "Call me back."  Was she asking Investigator Bove' to contact her again?   Listen

Prior to conducting our investigation this night, we spent the day exploring the area, including the Paulinskill Viaduct, where we had come across a memorial where a fisherman, Thomas Hofacker, had lost his life.  At the memorial was a picture of Thomas holding a fish, with the Hainesburg Mansion in the background.  Sensing he may have a connection to the house, Investigator K. Groff asked him questions aloud.  It was at this time she recorded two distinct male voices.  The first asked in response, "Can you hear me now?" followed by a second male who seems to scold the first saying, "Stop speaking loudly."  The voices are clipped separately to be hear more clearly.                       Hear me   Stop speaking

Towards the end of the investigation, Investigator Halpin recorded a commanding woman, who sounds quite comfortable bossing people around!  With an authoritative tone, she commands, "I know!  Put up my team, stat!"  Could she have been the owner the house, demanding that her team of horses be brought around?  Listen

Although there are investigators talking in this clip, captured by Investigator Halpin, you can clearly hear a male spirit saying, "Feeling bad, girl."  Since the Hainesburg mansion had once been home to vagrants and squatters, this could be residual energy of someone staying in the house who was not feeling well.   Listen

During the second half of our investigation, Investigator Kelly Groff stated that a male spirit was persistent in trying to get her attention.  She sensed that this spirit was not a nice guy, so she chose to ignore him.  At the same time, Investigator Chuck Groff heard a male spirit telling him to take Kelly's hand.  He did take her hand, and all at once, the lines of communication between Kelly and the male spirit was opened like a floodgate!  It was at the exact moment Chuck grabbed Kelly's hand that Kelly recorded this male voice saying, "Thank you, Kelly."   Listen
