| Case Studies - Private Residence - Gibbsboro, NJ -
March 29, 2008
SJPR was invited this this beautiful home by the resident, who is apparently quite psychic himself. His home is rich in history and local folklore and stories, some of which can be substantiated, others cannot. There was a family that lived within these walls, including a father who abused his young son, once having stuck the boy's head in the furnace as a disciplinary tactic. One of the resident's children saw a man and a young boy in the boiler room of the basement before knowing of the macabre incident. The top floor of the original house succumbed to fire, taking the life of a young boy in the process. Another tale tells of an older couple living in the home. The husband died at the bottom of the basement steps from the injuries he sustained in a fall. That's the fact part of the story. The suspicion is that his wife had pushed him. Although gone from this life, neighbors can still recall the odd, reclusive woman when she was alive...others still see her walking their neighborhood sidewalks... We offer some of our evidence here... -Click on a photo for a larger image-

| EVP EVIDENCE
During
our visit of this home, a negative male entity spent the evening "targeting"
Investigator Tornatore. He called Tornatore a rather nasty name, which
can only be heard in our
Adults Only
section. He wasn't the only foul-mouthed spirit we encountered this
night! While her team sat quietly in the living room, Investigator Bove' recorded this this gruff male voice saying, "Mother! Who stinks? Anybody?" He is crystal clear! Listen This EVP did not relate to anything happening during the investigation, so we consider it residual energy that just happened to be picked up by Investigator Agar's digital recorder. An older-sounding woman states, "Don't know this person's farm." The entire area at one time had been farmland, so we're sure this made sense at one point in history! Listen The Dining Room Investigator Sauter recorded this male voice in the dining room. This incident was the third time Sauter captured the same male spirit this night. He had apparently followed them from a bedroom they had been in earlier in the evening. The two other EVP can be heard under "Bedroom One." After you hear a teammate say "flash" as she takes a picture, a male spirit then says, "I need that." Listen The Master Bedroom As soon as Investigator Rogozin's team entered the master bedroom, his fellow investigators had sensed a negative male spirit. At one point, Rogozin recorded him saying, "I don't see no sheriff-no worries." Perhaps in life he had reason to keep watch out the window for fear the law would catch up to him...? In any event, this one is crystal clear! Listen Bedroom One This male voice, recorded by Investigator Sauter, states “Okay, I’ll straighten out for ya.” At the time this EVP was recorded, teammate Investigator J. Lenkowski was using dowsing rods. We wonder if the spirit was referring to the rods, or perhaps a personal character flaw. Listen Just two minutes after recording the above EVP, Investigator Sauter captured what sounds like the same male spirit saying, "My big butt hang here." This poor guy sounds as though he has some self-image problems! Listen The Kitchen Investigator Rogozin recorded this woman in the kitchen, excited exclaiming, "Think, oh, what surprise!" Listen While in this room, Investigator Tornatore was teasing Investigator Bove'. In this clip, recorded by Bove', you'll hear her saying to Tornatore, "Shut up, Jim!" A female spirit then advises, "Let it go!" We got the impression that she felt a woman shouldn't stand up to a man, even in jest. Listen The Basement Investigator Bove' recorded this loud male spirit saying, "Wait a second!" as one of her fellow investigators was explaining why we were there, to any spirit that would listen. Listen Sensing a male spirit near one of our guest investigators, Investigator Bove' pondered who he might be. It was at this time she captured this older female voice offering, "Bruce...he lived here." I should be noted that no one named "Bruce" was present during the investigation. Listen These voices of both a woman and man were recorded by Investigator Bove', neither of which related to anything happening at the time. The woman asks, “Did the light come with you?” followed by the man saying, “Kinda snippy here.” Not sure what that last comment is supposed to mean, but it’s pretty clear. Woman Man VIDEO EVIDENCE This video clip was captured by Investigator Bove' when she felt a male presence near our guest investigator, who is pictured. An orb materializes out of the column next to her. Watch In this clip, Investigator Bove' films Investigator Tornatore, who is telling the team he feels the negative male spirit nearby. Tornatore is clearly agitated, as an orb flies in close proximity on the left side of the frame. Watch After the above incident, Investigator Tornatore tries to relax. In this clip, you will see his head is back and his eyes are closed. A mist-like anomaly then appears and flies across his chest, causing his head to pop up as he realizes something is right on top of him. We offer the original version here and another one slowed down. Original Slowed All of the energy that Investigator Bove' captured in the kitchen was centered around Investigator Tornatore, who they felt was still being targeted by the negative male entity. Watch This clip was recorded by Investigator Thornton using a fishbowl lens, which enables her to capture a wider view. Although the camera angle is not typical (let's call it "artsy"), energy is clearly seen flying through the middle of the living room and near the fireplace. Watch Investigator Thornton captured energy as it flies behind Investigator Agar in the basement. Watch
