Case Studies - Private Residence - Blackwood, NJ - September 17, 2007

We were called to investigate this home because the resident was having trouble sleeping in his bedroom.  He would smell strange odors and feel so uncomfortable, he had resigned himself to sleeping on the couch.  And although he wasn't 100% certain, he could swear he has heard voices, as well.

The bedroom is full of old family photos, includes those of departed loved ones.  The resident was certain that at least one of the spirits was that of his grandfather.  Although he cherished him in life, he was finding it difficult to share space with his spirit.  We offer some of our findings....

At the very start of the investigation while Investigator Bove' was readying her equipment, this male voice saying, "Mike, get up," was captured by her audio recorder.  Suffice to say there was no one named Mike present during the evening.   Listen

This EVP is loud and clear!  The resident had recently gotten a puppy, who was sleeping on the bed.  As the team was discussing just how well behaved he was being, Investigator Bove' recorded at least two male voices.  The first male whispers, "Dog," which is followed by goofy laughter.  Another male then says, "This isn't a puppy."   Listen

Investigator Bove' had audibly heard a male voice.  During the time the team was discussing this event, her recorder picked up another male voice, deeper than the audible one.  Although not quite proper English, this EVP is clear, saying, "She not bet."   Listen 

In this clip, you'll hear Investigator Halpin say "flash" as she is taking a picture.  A female spirit can then be heard asking, "Get it?"   Listen

While Investigators Bove' and Halpin were engaging in general conversation, Investigator Bove' recorded this male spirit saying, "Bye-bye."  Hmm...a strong suggestion, perhaps?   Listen
